😲 Can you handle the truth?
Co-Founder + CEO, ClubNFT | Contributor, RightClickSave
Today we’re joined by Jason Bailey, one of the most prolific collectors & leaders in all of Web3. If you’re not already familiar with Jason or his company - you should be. Don’t wait too long though, or external circumstances may force your hand…
Our conversation explores the origins of ClubNFT, why most NFTs will self-destruct by 2027, how to protect yourself from such a black swan, the importance of supporting small artists & much more.
It also happens that this episode is releasing the day after Jason’s birthday - quite the synchronicity! 🥳 🎊 🎉
Enjoy! (If you do, please feel free to share 😉)
Jason Bailey, AKA “Artnome”, hails from the era of “crypto art”, before NFTs were common parlance or OpenSea raised its sails. With an unique background blending art, engineering & software, Jason was in prime position to connect with the world of blockchain art, growing from a collector into an educator as one of the first to bring NFTs to mainstream audiences & institutions like Christie’s & Sotheby’s.
After a visceral lesson in the the permanence (or lack thereof) of NFTs, Jason cofounded ClubNFT as a way to protect collectors from losing their artwork in the event of an NFT Apocalypse.
ClubNFT is building the next generation of solutions to discover, protect, and share NFTs. Alongside Jason Bailey, leadership includes technical co-founder/CTO Chris King (prev. Google) & CFO/COO Danielle King (prev. MoMA).
RightClickSave is a ClubNFT publication that seeks to drive critical conversation about art on the blockchain.
