Wow, It’s been an incredible 6 month Journey for me as an Artist in web3…

At the start of the year, I was desperately trying to get on platforms and figure out how to create a name for myself in this space and learned very quickly about the most beautiful part of web3 music; We support each other first. Whether it’s an unspoken rule or just the fact that generally everyone here is so kind, I’m not sure… But it’s my favourite aspect of this entire landscape.

I set out to find an innovative way to help others and also help myself get to the position I wanted to be in. That’s when I thought of The Blueprint. If you want to read about that, here’s a few articles about it already.

I’m so proud to say that I have achieved everything I set out to with The Blueprint in season 1 and I’ve decided to take a small break and then come back with a more open form space that is far more regular and still aimed at educating and lifting artists in the space. More on that soon!

Through The Blueprint and subsequent NFT releases I put out. I have been lucky enough to have garnered a bit of a team around me in Vol Records. Lucas has been instrumental in helping my crazy ideas come to life.

This brings me to my biggest and most exciting endeavor yet, Le Culte de Saint Rien… Starting with ‘Les Roses de la Genèse’ which will be used to unlock some incredible things within Le Culte. But more to come on that ;)

The Current State of Web3 Music

Music NFTs are wonderful and I absolutely love minting my music and connecting with collectors. So much so, that I really want to expand and get to the root of what else is valuable for others within music, outside of treating it as a collectible.

At least for me, the most valuable part of music is experiencing it in moments and getting special or exclusive access to it.

Lying down with my eyes closed and letting the perfect song, for the perfect moment wash over me. Seeing my favourite artist live for the first time. Being allowed backstage or having special information about my favourite artist that no one else knows.

As I have begun to contemplate the next phase of my Web3 career, with help from Vol Records and many other people pushing boundaries in Web3 music, it’s become clearer that there are many more applications for NFTs that can be beneficial for artists, collectors and traditional fans.

The Future of Web3 Music

In addition to establishing a new form of art, Web3 and NFTs have the potential to unlock new ways of rewarding supporters. To begin to capture this potential, I will be rolling out Les Pétales de Saint Rien (Rose Petals) over the upcoming weeks. These petals will serve as a token symbolizing your support of Le Culte de Saint Rien. Think of it like a secret handshake that we share. Though, in the following months, it will unlock a lot more… But I will remain as quiet about this as possible!

What We’re Doing

We'll be making 1,111 Pétales available as a free mint to my existing and future collectors and other initiés du culte (Twitter space attendees, live stream ticket holders, people who help spread our message, etc.).

The first batch of 50 genesis petals (Pétales de la Genèse.) will be extremely valuable within Le Culte De Saint Rien community moving forward as we open up everything myself and Vol Records have been building behind the scenes.

Implementing Utility

After speaking with my collectors, one of the main reasons they collect is for the purpose of being a special part of my community. That said, it's important to me that I push the boundaries of Web3 Music and go beyond basic expectations.

Les Pétales de Saint Rien will be the keys to accessing special behind-the-scenes content, preferred access to future mints, and more special perks within Le Culte de Saint Rien. Petals will be minted and distributed in batches - the first batch of 50, as it is the early collectors will be more valuable than every other batch trust me…
