Sooo we have some news…
We’re building a new product.

It’s called Mosaik and enables all of us to curate, meme and build with NFTs.
The idea is an extension of the builder and we believe it has great potential.
For us, it’s a new Chapter: Scapes + Mosaik.

What does this mean for Scapes?

First of all - we’re not going anywhere. We are more committed than ever.
Scapes.Studio builds Mosaik. Scapes.Studio stewards our NFT collections.

We were always proud of our building capabilities and products, so we will focus on what we’re best at - building a product people love to use.

Scapes are still a relatively small project. Yes we’re in the top 1% of all existing collections but the Pareto Distribution in NFTs is steep. During this bear market we have come to accept that just maintaining the Scapes collectibles isn’t going to result in a sustainable business that enables us to keep pushing long term. While we definitely see areas of improvement, NFTs are also a luck + meta game. We as individuals believe that Scapes will be big and significant at some point, but one can’t force that.

And we believe: Us focusing on building something for the entire space can only be good for Scapes. And with Mosaik, there is undeniable cross-pollination potential.

We want to work on Scapes long term and believe this is the most sustainable way to do so without diluting the Scapes brand and selling more and more NFTs to our community.

How does the near future look like?

The focus with Scapes is to build a great brand, experiment with new technology and stay together as the incredible community we are.

As many of you know, next up for Scapes are on-chain Scapes, including merges and fades (and a bunch more…).

The focus with Mosaik is to build a great product and conquer the Web3 world.
We think of it as a Trojan horse for Scapes. (Don’t tell the Trojans)
Mosaik ties up all our ideas and beliefs together in one beautiful package.
The mission is to enable creativity and expression with digital assets. At scale.

Currently, Mosaik is still in the developing phase. Of course you’ll be the first to know more details and get access to it.
