Spark Rewards is a new program that distributes tokens weekly to users who take on-chain actions that support the growth of the Spark ecosystem.

This program is more than just incentives, it's a collaboration framework. By distributing partner grants through Spark Rewards, Spark reinforces its belief that DeFi grows stronger when protocols work together.

How Spark Rewards Works

Spark Rewards will distribute tokens based on Rewarded Actions, on-chain behaviours that are aligned with Spark’s ecosystem.

The set of Rewarded Actions may change over time, depending on available campaigns and partner initiatives. When new actions are added, they will be announced through https://app.spark.fi/rewards and Spark’s social channels.

Claiming Rewards

Rewards will be claimable directly in the Spark App. Users will be able to see their total rewards per campaign and claim them with a single transaction.

Spark Rewards – RED Season

The first campaign kicks off with a collaboration between Spark and RedStone, marking the launch of the RED season. This campaign rewards users who supply cbBTC into SparkLend on Ethereum Mainnet.

Rewarded Action

• Supplying cbBTC to SparkLend Rewards are distributed based on each user’s share of the total cbBTC supplied to the market over time. Borrowing cbBTC does not count toward rewards, and looping strategies are excluded.For more details on how rewards are calculated, visit docs.spark.fi.

The RED season is made possible thanks to Spark’s integration of RedStone oracles into Chronicle Aggor, Spark’s resilient oracle system. By adding RedStone as a data source—alongside Chronicle and Chainlink—Spark increased the robustness of its oracle network. In return for strengthening oracle diversity and decentralization, Spark received RED tokens, which will be used to reward users in this first Spark Rewards campaign.
