Reflecting on 2022, I had an incredible experience with NFTs that changed my views on digital art and what it means to experience it. This led me to understand how we consume art and how that can be a significant part of the overall experience.

Initially, I was going to let myself produce more content for Web3 before launching an NFT, but there was a bit of a technical push to use Manifold to get my NFT deployed earlier than planned. There’s a longer story there. In principle, what is happening is a solution to deal with marketplaces trading NFTs without respecting the creator's royalties.

Index Coop originally spun up an index product in 2022 to reflect the NFT market known as the JPG NFT Index or JPEG Index. The project was then transferred to be part of a separate collection of indexes under the Moonrock brand. While their products are oriented at more liquid NFT exposure for investors, my curiosity was with using the index to get a sense of the blue-chip NFT market and the trends it is experiencing using technical analysis tools.
