On October 5, 2022, Bessemer Venture Partners announced the launch of Steel DAO, a community-as-a-scout program and a dedicated web3 talent collective.

Since then, Steel DAO has invested in four companies: anotherblock, OWND., Shield, and Sphere Labs. We’ve also launched grassroots initiatives like the Research and Community Divisions, and have been working on progressively decentralizing our efforts.

Today, we’re excited to announce the launch of our Mirror. We launched the Research Division early this year and published our first piece on ZKPs through Bessemer’s Atlas. While we still plan to collaborate on future publications, we also wanted to create our own outlet to share more of our collective thinking.
