Hey, Hunters! We’re excited to bring a new tradition to our community: TokenHunters Movie Nights! Every Friday night, the Hunter Lounge in our Discord server will transform into a virtual theater, streaming documentaries and movies that dive deep into the exciting world of Web3. Get ready to learn, connect, and have a blast as we explore everything from blockchain basics to crypto conspiracies, the history of Bitcoin, and beyond.
How It All Began...
It all started last Friday, October 25, when we kicked off an spontaneously movie night. Without much fanfare or an official announcement, we set up a playlist filled with Bitcoin documentaries covering topics from foundational education and fascinating facts to cautionary tales and infamous scams. It was a spontaneous night, but the vibe was amazing, and the turnout even better! Not only did we learn a ton, but we also had some seriously thought-provoking conversations. Between watching, chatting, and even airdrop farming with the movie streaming in the background, we discovered just how fun and valuable these community gatherings could be.
What to Expect Moving Forward
From now on, every Friday is Movie Night in the Hunter Lounge! We’re making this a regular event to deepen our knowledge, build connections, and create a space for everyone to come together in a fun, interactive way. Here’s how it will work:

Community-Driven Themes: We’ve set up a special Movie-Voting channel where, every week, you’ll get to vote on the theme for that Friday’s playlist. Themes could range from beginner’s blockchain, NFTs, and DeFi to the darker side of crypto, like scams and scandals, everything web3 related, you name it. Voting ends Friday morning, and the winning theme will shape the night’s content.

Build-Your-Own Playlist: Once the theme is set, our host and community members can add relevant YouTube videos (documentaries, movies, and mini-series) to the playlist. This collaborative approach means everyone has a chance to shape the movie night with content they’re excited to watch and share with others.

Chill and Chat While You Watch: Our movie nights are all about freedom! Whether you’re seriously watching the videos, working on your latest airdrop strategies, or hanging out in the chat to share your thoughts, there’s no wrong way to enjoy the evening. Feel free to come and go as you like, participate in conversations, or just soak in the background sounds while getting your Web3 knowledge fix. Many will just be farming their airdrops, but together is more fun right?
