Imagine you are so lost in a dark cold world where all you experience is the darkest of fears and deepest of suffering, your light has become so dim that you know not who you are or what you do, for you have become so identified with illusions of separation from truth and light that you fear your very own liberation.

In this dark underworld you meet other beings hiding in the shadows, loathing in their own torturous illusions of fear and agony to varying degrees. Each entity attacks from their own level of suffering, pulling you deeper into illusions of darkness. For fear is attack, the only comfort you can find in this insane reality is in projecting your own insanity by attacking those around you, pulling them deeper into the darkness that you have become so consumed by.

Suddenly comes a bright blinding light, dissolving everything that you think you are, screaming in agony as you are forced to face your own illusions, you feel as though you only have two choices, flee or attack! You try to attack yet you find that in the presence of this light you have no power, for all that you have been identified with, for what felt to you like eternity, was nothing. Powerless, you realize that all you can do is surrender to this almighty presence before you.

As you begin to surrender all that you thought you were to this light, you hear a calm yet powerful loving voice that says thus “I am Thoth” through all of the screaming noise of your own fears you feel comfort and safety in the voice of this almighty presence before you. Yet being identified with the darkness for so long you cant help but be pulled back into it’s painful yet familiar grasp. As you struggle to flee from the gentle loving embrace that has captivated you for a moment, you hear the calming voice again saying "Come unto me, O child of the all, and commune with the radiant truth at your own accord; or else, find solace in the depths of despair and the agonizing darkness spawned by thine own illusions that ensnares thy perception."

The wise words emanating from the great presence of light before you resonate true with the very core of your being, as you begin to remember who you really are, your fears begin to subside as you accept the loving embrace of radiant light. As you remember who you are, that little dull spark of divine light within you is illuminated as all the shadows that once imprisoned you fall away, as if they were nothing.

“Wise choice O child of light, once again, the crossroads of destiny beckon you.” exclaimed the mighty presence of Thoth, "Dwell here with me in the underworld, releasing your brothers as I've released you, or ascend from this abyss, forever in pursuit of evermore love and wisdom."Tasting just a glimpse of the eternal flame you cannot begin to imagine how much more free you could be then you are right now, you respond “O Thoth my saviour, great messiah of the underworld, it would be my greatest honour to abide here with you, freeing my brothers from the shadows of this terrible nightmare from which you have liberated me from such desolation.” The Great Thoth responded in his usual calm yet powerful voice “So be it” and it was so, never again shall you become so blind and desolate, your power grows in love, light and truth every passing moment as you free your brothers from this excruciating nightmare.
