The crypto space has seen better days. Whilst every other protocol tries to capture mindshare from the timeline through hype and empty promises, at #TheFactory what we've built as a community is nothing like the others. It's a place for those who refuse to settle for mediocrity—those who want to cut through the noise and find real value.

In Rounds 1 and 2, the community— you— showed us glimpses of what's possible. Now, for Round 3, we're turning up the heat.

We're not rewarding everything; we're rewarding the best. The sharpest content, the most active participation, the most bullish Umojans. But, don't worry—every Umoji you accumulate still goes toward your airdrop eligibility, keeping you in the game no matter how you participate.

Round 3 Rules

In this round, we're raising the stakes to foster a more competitive, meaningful experience. The updated rules go live on Wednesday, October 2, at 5 PM UTC, and here's how they break down:

1. Complete the Airdrop Shift to become airdrop eligible. Within the shift you are required to place a Synth on Umoja.*

2. Refer friends to the Factory and recieve 1:1 Umojis, which means if they get 100 Umojis, you'll also get 100 Umojis. The more your friends contribute, the more you are rewarded.

3. $2,000 USDC to the top 50 in the leaderboard

4. $1,000 USDC in cash prizes in Round 3 Creator Contest

5. The Creator Contest winners are determined by the community vote.

6. Community voting takes place Thursday October 10 2PM UTC - Friday, October 11 2PM UTC. The winners will be announced live on the community call!

We're introducing a new set of cash prizes to amplify the stakes this round:

• Best "What is Umoja" Video

  • Video that includes your face: $300

  • Video that is faceless: $150

• Best "Join The Factory" Video

  • Video that includes your face: $300

  • Video that is faceless: $150

• Best Factory Lore Story Prize: $100

Judging and Community Voting

When it comes to judging, we're looking for content that isn't just high-quality but captures the essence of The Factory. Our criteria include:

• Creativity. Show us something fresh. Take an unconventional approach, and don't be afraid to challenge norms or experiment. Make a song, write a poem, do a music video. BE CREATIVE!

• Alignment. Submissions should reflect Umoja's purpose—to democratize wealth-building tools—and communicate it in a way that's clear, engaging, and authentic.

• Presentation. Great ideas need great execution. Keep your content polished and your messaging on point, whether it's a video, thread, or story. Keep the information you share RELEVANT. Don't just copy and paste.

• Impact. Does your content inspire action or curiosity? Does it leave a lasting impression? Impact is what separates the good from the great.

The Umoja team will choose the Top 5 from each category, and then it's up to the community to vote and decide on the winners.

Airdrop Eligibility

If you want to be airdrop eligible at The Factory, here's how:

1. By placing a Synth:

   Each Umoji you earn will be added to your total protocol points balance in proportion to what you'd earn with a Synth, multiplied by ½. You must place a Synth with your same wallet connected with the Factory.

2. If you don't place a Synth:

   You're still eligible, but your points convert at a ⅕ ratio. While this keeps you in the game, engaging with Synths is the best way to maximize your rewards.

Factory Guest Passes

To encourage growth and engagement, we're introducing Factory Guest Passes. These passes are a way for our community partners to bring new voices into The Factory, enriching our ecosystem with diverse perspectives and experiences.

Guest pass holders who complete a shift will be able to claim bonus partner points as a welcome gesture. This is about recognizing the value of community collaboration and showing our appreciation for everyone who contributes to Umoja's success.
