Celestia

On the road to 1 GB blocks, Celestia has announced Shwap, the first DA network upgrade is now live on testnet.

The Shwap upgrade improves sampling speed, sync time, and block data usage by massive amounts for light and full nodes, with Mainnet Beta expected for November this year.

Hyperliquid

Hyperliquid has established the Hyper Foundation, which aims to support the growth of the Hyperliquid blockchain and ecosystem.

Additionally, users have until November to access the Hyperliquid Genesis Event and opt-into receiving HYPE tokens in the near future, with the claim likely occurring soon afterwards.

Karak

Karak has announced their Mainnet V2, enabling a fully functioning shared security ecosystem through a phased launch.

Karak V2's design creates an extremely flexible and scalable restaking platform, requiring only four deployed contracts: Core, Vault, SlashingHandler, and Distributed Secure Services (DSS).

Drop

Drop has announced a $4M seed raise, including angels from projects like Lido, Celestia, Hyperlane, and more.

With their dATOM liquid staking token (LST) steadily growing since launch, Drop also been working on their very own LST for TIA.

Sonic

Sonic has released their long-awaited Litepaper, detailing future tokenomics, the current airdrop program, as well as technical accomplishments.

After passing a governance vote, users of Opera and Sonic will receive 6% of the initial total supply, which could be worth checking out.

Fuel

Last for this week, Fuel has launched Fuel Ignition, their supercharged L2, on mainnet.

Due to the optimized FuelVM, total throughput and fees can be significantly improved while still leveraging the Ethereum network for security.
