About Team

Core Team Members

1. Charles, MC-NUOS co-founder

Back in last December, Charles started collecting different NFT collections which triggers his interest to create NFT collection, so after 3 months, Charles assembled this team to chase this dream. Currently he is responsible for team’s BD and marketing.

Previously as a full stack developer in Deutsche bank, Charles had served many top brands across different industries. Meanwhile, he is a part-time street wear model and a huge fan of fashion in general. Besides he is also a sem-professional basketball player. He would get back to China soon to prepare the wedding at end of this year, used to be mainly stayed in London.

2. Vica, MC-NUOS co-founder and Chief Designe Officer

Vic is responsible for all kinds of content creation, including art, fashion, storyline, and events.

He has been living and studying in Japan, China, New Zealand and the United Kingdom throughout the life, searching for meanings and inspirations. This lifestyle allowed Vic to see the unbelievable energy created from the melting of different cultures.

NUOS’s first NFT project Mental College comes from our thinking on the concept of “Difference”.  As an artist, Vic insighted the underestimated force of creativity among people, simply because most of society values normality above all else. “Doesn’t so-called ‘Mental’ things always have the most spark?” Therefore, MC-NUOS would combine art, fashion and technology in this collection— tremendously illustrating the value of creativity.

NFTs are just the start of a journey to make art accessible, enjoyable and relatable. MC-NUOS is vitalizing a new connection to the world though web3.

Mental College isn’t one person’s artistic dream, but a union of all people who don’t believe in the mundane.

3. Eric, MC-NUOS co-founder

Eric is primarily responsible for business operations and development. Currently he is all in web 3 and previously served as co-founded of multiple startups involving healthcare, real estate and education across several countries.

4. JW, MC-NUOS co-founder

JW is primarily responsible for technology. He used to be curious about blockchain technologies, projects, and started doing certain blockchain investments last year. He had assembled the Tech team, including web designers, front-end developers, and smart contract developers. He has worked in software development for 6 years, doing a mix of frontend, backend, DevOps and cloud works, mainly stayed in London.

1. Dreamworld (Illustrator)

An accomplished visual design studio primarily focused on the gaming industry, including graphic design, 3D modeling, special effects and CG animation, with clients including major Asian gaming firms such like Tencent, Bytedance and Netease.

2. Melody (Fashion Advisor)

Melody, Founder and CMO of multiple fashion boutiques in China, successfully introduced many up-and-coming designer brands to the Chinese market, established a network with a wide variety of designer brands, wholesalers and retailers globally as well.

3. Leo (Lead UI Designer)

With over 20 years of experience specializing in brand design, visual design and UI design, Leo’s previous clients include Shell, Hyundai, Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, Siemens, LG, Toyota, Corona, PUMA, Amazon Kindle, etc.

4. David (Music Director)

David is primarily interested in electronic, rock and metal music genres, with extensive and distinctive experience in music production, composition, sound design, international film and television scoring.

1. Luluinwater (Marketing Advisor)

Over a decade of creative and marketing experience at multinational agencies including Dentsu and Havas, His previous clients include Toyota, JP Morgan, Shiseido, Coca-Cola and etc. He is constantly exploring the boundaries of consumer marketing as a form of modern artistic expression. Previously published the ACG piece of League of Legends was adopted into film.

2. Socialab (Marketing Agency)

A top-tier social media and creative marketing agency with over a decade of industry experience and global clients including McDonalds, Coca-Cola, Mercedes Benz, Durex and many others. Socialab specializes in connecting brands with consumers through art and technology, and has recently launched its own in-house team dedicated to web 3.0 marketing activities.

Cascade Entertainment-Twitter and Discord marketing team with demonstrable experience working on successful web 3.0 projects.

1. Ash (Lead Front-end Developer)

A Software engineer with experience designing system architectures, developing Rich Web and Hybrid Mobile Applications using NodeJS, Angular, AngularJS, React, Ionic, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and automating deployments.

Having commercial exposure to React, Swift and PHP, Google Cloud Platform and AWS.

2. Nii (Lead Smart Contract Developer)

A highly skilled developer with hands-on experience building NFT and DeFi applications to deliver effective user experiences. Having strong knowledge of Solidity, Subgraph, React, Vue and other JavaScript frameworks for optimum functionality. Also served as the Blockchain Lead at Netvrk and the Chief Technology Officer at The Famous Token.

Mental College’s design philosophy places a central focus on fashion, incorporating the most forward thinking design trends with influences from fine art, historical and cultural references, and even social highlights.

Outfits

Each look consists of inner and outer clothing pieces, as well as multiple accessories.

Holders will be able to continually customize avatar outfits with future releases of

digital clothing/accessory pieces.

The quality of each piece is measured against 20+ seasons of runway collections from

most major designer and streetwear brands.

In this collection, there are a large number of customized accessories. They are characterized by the mixture of different pop culture elements.

Project Drawbacks

Mint price would be particularly decisive in the current bear market. 0.035E for WL wouldn’t be very attractive, especially considering the difference between 0.035E for WL and 0.042E for Public is relatively trivial. People in the market would wait and see due to the risk mentioned above. In addition, the effect of oversea promotion is inferior to the domestic and noticing DC members’ slightly low activation, the project might have limitations to some degree.
