Introduction

Wasteland Cactus Crew entered the blockchain in September 2021. The collection’s supply is limited to 5000 NFTs and is made up of over 300 unique traits.

Our mission is to use our outstanding art and roadmap with artist spotlighting, giveaways, and marketing to continue to build the absolute best community in the NFT space whilst providing true value to our holders.

1. The $WSTLND Token

The use of $WSTLND

You will be able to use your $WSTLND tokens for things such as but not limited to; Wagering in the Casino, purchase of items from our Black Market, and interacting with future WLCC-related collections for example breeding two cacti to make a Sprout.

The token will act as a tender for making purchases of any form of exchange that would require a symbol of value in the Cactiverse.

Tokenomics

Our genesis WLCC NFTs can be staked in our Dashboard in exchange for 10 $WSTLND per NFT staked, per 24-hour cycle.

2. WLCC Metaverse

WLCC has acquired two plots of land in the SANDBOX metaverse on which we plan to deploy a multifaceted gaming experience once SANDBOX releases. We have contracted highly sought-after sandbox/pixel art team "ARQONIX: metavoxel studio", an official SANDBOX and metakey partner, to create a unique Cacti-verse experience for you to explore as Voxel Cacti! The Wasteland Casino is ready and waiting! We plan to deploy other mini-games in the SANDBOX metaverse on these plots over time.

3. A step into the Physical World

As already mentioned WLCC will have way more utility than just in the digital world. With our collection of aesthetic physicals, our project will hold worth in both worlds.

The physicals are only the beginning, a tip of the iceberg; physicals will form a big part of this project in the future. Our goal is to scale WLCC into a globally recognized brand in this space.

Statue

We’ll be handing out statues modeled after Biff, a character created by Walter for Wasteland Cactus Crew. Each statue is hand-made by a renowned Mexican craftsman with over 10 years of experience in making toys. The figures are made of ceramic and are 7.5 inches tall. The sword can be taken off the back.

Rugs

Another one of our physicals is rugs made up of natural wool. They stretch a length of 3.2 feet. The producers behind this item have worked with high-end companies such as shoe manufacturers, shoe stores, and beverage manufacturers.

4. Artist Support - ‘‘Back to the roots’’

We recognize the integral part artists play in the existence of this project. That's why we'll be giving back to the broader digital art community to show our appreciation. To this end, we have set up an initiative focused on our artists’ welfare called “Back to the Roots”. The "WLCC Art Competition'' is a product of this initiative.

The event serves as a podium for underground artists in the digital craft space to find exposure for their work. It gives artists the creative freedom of expressing the full width of their imagination by creating digital art pieces. We set the themes, and the artists are given one week to make submissions. After compiling a set of judges picks the best work.

5. Community

Our goal is to create a fun, engaged interactive community with efficient communication by providing online forums for Wastelanders to chat, share opinions and make suggestions about the project. In addition, we intend to carry every member along by updating holders on our project's progress and recent developments via AMA meetings and regular announcements through our Discord channel and other social media platforms.

Wasteland Alpha

As a holder of a WLCC NFT, exclusive channels are accessible in the Discord server which includes access to the latest real-time Alpha calls made by expert analysts in this space.

Game Nights

WLCC community game nights will be driven by our Game Masters, these will be a mix of appointed community members and sought-out help to fill out the team. Game Masters will publish a weekly schedule for their events for things such as but not limited to; "Crab game" Free to download via Steam, Gartic guessing games, Rumble Royale, Smash Karts (free to play on the web), Poker tournaments, LOL Beans (free to play on the web) and much more over time! Expect prizes at every event for those who engage and contribute! Things like Water, WLCC NFTs, partner NFTs, Crew cards and more COULD be given away! So be sure to check the schedules posted by our Game Masters!

Art Livestreams

Not only will our beloved artist, Walter Ostlie be joining us for sessions, we will be using the WLCC brand as a launchpad to help introduce artists to the world of web3 and NFTs. If you search across platforms such as LinkedIn there are professional indie artists who are trying to crack through into this new digital era of art and expression. We plan to host featured artists as they share with our Wasteland world the process of the creation of their art. We hope you'll join us as we look to be a positive source for people as they look to make that scary transition into the world we know and love so well.

Giveaways

The WLCC community vault is currently stocked with a small army of WLCC genesis cacti. We will use these strategically in a variety of ways such as but not limited to; Twitter reach raffles, Discord game events, AMA and Twitter spaces raffles, Rewards for artists featured in our Live streams and raffles during those events, and much more. As we run out of giveaway NFT we will use royalties to sweep the floor and continue to use those as giveaway rewards - NEVER to be resold by the team once swept with royalties, ONLY to be used as community giveaway/rewards. We expect to host giveaways for $WSTLND as well as the Discord currency, Water.

6. Comic Series

The WLCC comic series is something the team is extremely excited and proud to bring to the world. Walter Ostlie has been a career comic artist with plenty of work to cite in both comics as well as NFT art. Walter has partnered with the WLCC team to proudly present the story of the Wasteland Cactus Crew! The first edition of our esteemed comic collection will proudly display a collaborative effort approved and co-promoted by none other than the Kaiju Kingz! The WLCC Genesis collection has over 12 distinct "1 of 1" special unique cacti characters. Over time we expect to produce not only collaborative comics but also stories behind the unique characters Walter has created!

Don't forget! Crew Card holders have the ability to FREE CLAIM an Outcast which will generate a royalty PER PAGE that your outcast is used in NON Collaboration comics.

Our comic series will be sold individually by "series/issue" and only be viewable by the connected wallets containing the comic NFT. Holders of the comic NFT will have the option to claim a physical copy to be professionally published and bound, then delivered straight to your door!

7. Crew Cards

Crew cards are exclusive digital collectibles consisting of only 200 NFTs. Originally designed as the mint pass for the Genesis NFT, their use has evolved into much more. In the future, the crew cards will become one of the strong pillars of the Wasteland Cactus Crew ecosystem.

8. Sprouts

The Wasteland Cactus Crew is proud to present, the Sprouts - another collection in the WLCC Cactiverse, minted through the WLCC utility token $WSTLND! The Sprouts will be created through a unique breeding experience. There will be a limit of 5000 Wasteland Sprouts available from breeding.

Breeding Process

We wanted our community to have an engaging experience that was not only fun and interactive but requires time invested to make this an experience to remember. To breed a Sprout you will need; 2 Genesis WLCC NFTs and 350 $WSTLND, Water and Fertilizer.

Phase 1

In exchange for burning 350 $WSTLND, you will be given a Flower Pot. This Flower Pot is very special, make sure to handle it with care! Water your Flower Pot and wait for 4 hours and 20 minutes (4:20) to see the Sprout metadata refresh to phase 2!

Phase 2

In phase 2 you will notice a change in your Flower Pot, a Sprout may be starting to take form! In this phase, you will Fertilize your Sprout and wait for another 4:20 when your Sprout will reveal its final true metadata. You will be able to re-breed the same genesis WLCC and the Sprout traits will be assigned at random, not specific to their parents. You can only have 5 Flower Pots at one time however once your Sprouts have been revealed, you may breed again until the 5,000 have been created.

9. Mobile App

WLCC is coming to your phones with a native-built mobile app for iOS and Android devices. The app replicates the functionality which is available in the web dashboard but also includes additional features and widgets you can use on your device.

10. Airdrops

After sprouts, the team will begin expanding the Wasteland Crew collection with a special airdrop. Each WLCC NFT will receive one airdrop.

11. Events & Galleries

WLCC is an international brand with a small community spread across the globe, as our community grows and the demand matches we will begin booking booths at popular NFT events in both EU and US locations. Until then, we will continue to hold events in the metaverse in varying ways. There are growing platforms where spaces can be held in VR, platforms known well such as Twitter and Discord already are great outlets for our Degenerative Cacti meetings! There will be some surprises along the way as we develop new partnerships and friends in the art world, so be sure to stay tuned to where you may find Walter's art next!
