With the announcement of WonderFi Labs partnership with ZK Sync Today, we're excited to dig more into what this means for WonderFi Labs and our new L2 network - Wonder!

Why ZKSync for Wonder?​

Our decision to build Wonder Chain on the ZKSync stack was driven by several strategic benefits:

Advanced security & scalability​

ZKSync employs zero-knowledge rollups to validate transactions securely and efficiently. This means that Wonder Chain inherits:

• World-class security: The cryptographic proofs ensure the integrity and confidentiality of every transaction.

A freemium gasless model powered by ZK’s Paymaster smart contract​

At the heart of our value proposition is a freemium gasless model. Leveraging ZK’s innovative paymaster smart contract, we’re able to subsidize gas fees for our users. Here’s how it works:

• Two-lane model: While the underlying transactions are validated on-chain, the paymaster smart contract covers the gas fees, ensuring a gasless experience for everyday users.

• Lowered barriers to entry: With fees abstracted away, anyone can participate without the need for gas tokens. This is especially appealing for new users and developers testing the waters.
