Many major developments have occurred in this last month, and this article will highlight the key milestones of each of our departments throughout August 2022
As one of the largest tournament organizers in Web3, we are closing this month having hosted 16 Tournaments. However, XBorg intends to be one of the leading organizers across gaming, including Web2, and therefore this month we hosted our first CS: GO tournament. With very positive feedback from our community, we plan to make Web2 tournaments a regular occasion in the coming months.
As we grow our footing within the esports scene we also intend to expand our own professional team. This month we are proud to have signed two professional players Gonzague and Milkou. The pair will be primarily competing in Cometh tournaments and have made their mark by placing first place in several tournaments since they have been signed. Welcome to the XBorg family, and let us climb these leaderboards.
While on the subject of leaderboards, XBorg remains the number-one clan on the ev.io leaderboard, consistently ranking first place across all official tournaments we participate in.
This has been an exciting month filled with many collaborations and new partnerships. We have been in close conversations with many of the prominent faces in the space of Web3 gaming, and in no particular order we have announced close partnerships with the following organizations:

This has been a landmark month for XBorg’s community. Our Twitter followers have grown to 3500 strong, and our Discord family is almost there too with around 2940 members. Our community of Xplorers is growing and we welcome our members on this journey.
Our community is not just defined by our growing numbers, it's about the individuals who make it, and dedicated to that belief we would like to give a massive shoutout to Kitty_matrix. Among the most dedicated to the values XBorg is pushing, Kitty_matrix moderates our Discord, builds our Crew3, provides strong feedback, and never ceases to do what they can to push our space to the next level. This month is yours Kitty_matrix, amazing work.
Strong as ever we have become one of the leading sources for game analysis content on Web3. We have been reached out by many parties, such as Immutable X for the content we are delivering weekly on their subreddit.
Dedicated to creating and offering our community value on all platforms, our Youtube and Twitch channels are constantly growing. We have doubled down on our content creation and this month hosted three AMA’s with Guild of Guardians, Big Time, and Soonieverse. Our Twitch has reached 300 followers, and our YouTube reached around 190 followers. Let us keep growing!
Additionally, this month we launched our Subreddit and Medium page. Our subreddit will be fully community governed, hosting conversations on all things Web3 gaming. Our Medium will be the source of all XBorg official news and updates.
Furthermore, we launched a first-of-its-kind Twitter space series. Some of the most prominent faces from across Web2 and Web3 gathered together to discuss the future of esports, the current state of blockchain gaming, and what to expect next. If you missed any of these conversations, head to our YouTube channel where you can find them all.
Finally, we have launched our lore. Keep your eyes on the story as it grows, as many of the characters that will be revealed are directly inspired by our community members.
This month’s fundraising can be summarised in a short sentence. We are closing the rounds. Having accumulated our investor support, the funding rounds are soon coming to an end, and next month we will share all the updates on the exciting future of XBorg.
Among the many landmarks attained and surpassed, we announced the launch of one of our biggest products, our Genesis NFT. These months have been paramount for the growth of XBorg, and we aim to give back to our earliest supporters. The holders of our NFT will have access to a host of utilities that will allow them to thrive in our platform, and experience the value they have generated in our ecosystem so far.
