Keepers Of The Past

The year is 2099.

Earth has no more inhabitants, only tourists from other planets who visit like one would visit a museum. Ruins and debris everywhere, but some individuals left their headsets before the big collapse, still functional, they headsets provide a glimpse into their life and the world that once was, on the pale blue dot they used to call home. The headsets were set to self-destruct at the end of the century, and so life forms from other planets have been making their way to Earth to catch a last look at the past before its erased.

As the tourists wandered through the ruins, they viewed the recordings on the headsets, learning about the people who had once lived there and the challenges they had faced. Some of the tourists felt a sense of sadness, realizing that the inhabitants of Earth had been unable to prevent their own demise.

However, one group of tourists decided to stay behind. They had become fascinated by the history of Earth and the stories that the headsets had told them. They set up camp among the ruins, determined to uncover more of the planet's past and to preserve as much of it as they could.

They spent their days exploring the ruins and searching for any remaining artifacts or technology that could provide clues about the people who had once lived on Earth. They also spent hours viewing the recordings on the headsets, learning more about the culture and history of the planet.

As the years passed, the group of tourists became known as the "Keepers of the Past." They continued to explore and research, determined to preserve the memory of Earth and its inhabitants for future generations of visitors. They became the guardians of the planet's history, ensuring that the story of the pale blue dot would not be forgotten.

The Keepers formed a small community among the ruins, sharing their knowledge and resources to continue their research. They even managed to repair some of the damaged technology, using it to learn more about the people who had once lived on Earth.

They continued to explore the ruins and share their knowledge with anyone who was interested, determined to keep the memory of Earth alive for as long as possible.
