Urgent Security Update: Incident Involving Zum Token on the BSC Network

Dear Zum Token Community,

We regret to inform you of a security breach that has impacted one of our token wallets on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) network. This attack resulted in the theft of approximately 10% of the total supply of Zum Tokens. In response to this incident, we have swiftly withdrawn liquidity from the BSC network to prioritize the safety and security of our users.

In our commitment to transparency, we have made an announcement regarding this situation on our social media channels. To ensure that our investors are not adversely affected, we strongly advise against conducting any transactions with our contract on the BSC network during this time.

Furthermore, to safeguard the interests of our token holders on the BSC network, we have taken a snapshot of the Zum Token balances in wallets as of December 25, 2023, the date of the attack. This snapshot will serve as a reference for subsequent actions.

In light of these unfortunate events, we have deployed a new Zum Token Contract on the Avalanche network to extend our reach to more users. The new contract address is: 0x63dc3cA01ff09E714C8108Ffd6F8A3E0b8CD13e4.

We are also pleased to announce that as of today, we have commenced a 1:1 token distribution to our existing Zum Token holders on the BSC network. You can verify these transactions through the following links on SnowTrace: Transaction 1, Transaction 2, Transaction 3, etc.

Additionally, we are working towards initiating Zum trading on Trader Joe as soon as possible, and we will keep you updated on the progress.

For any queries or concerns related to this issue, please feel free to contact us at contact@zumtoken.com. Your security and trust are our top priorities.

Stay safe and secure,

The Zum Token Team
