When Solomon Olusegun and Rachel David participated in the Crowd4SDG competition by the University of Geneva in 2021, they probably never imagined to take their project idea so far. In their project pitch they aimed to make an impact in clean water supplement in their home country, Nigeria, referring to the 6th Sustainable Development Goal of the United Nations. Their proposed project, Donate Water, was designed to collect information on the quality of water sources in communities across Nigeria, establishing a data landscape based on the accessibility and location of wells and boreholes, as well as the availability of potable water.
