Thank you for participating in the AO Testnet! If you own AOCRED tokens, for the next two weeks you are now able to convert them into an AO token claim, at the ratio of 1 AO for 1000 AOCRED. Because no AO tokens are pre-mined, these tokens will be offered to AOCRED holders from tokens generated by Forward Research’s holdings of AR.
You must deposit your AOCRED before the deadline in order to be eligible: 11 AM Eastern June 27, 2024
This process is only available to people outside of the United States. Claimants must attest that they are not residing in the US.
To do so, you must follow this 2 step process:

Deposit your AOCRED from your wallet using the AOCRED tab on the AO token mint site: ao.arweave.dev in order to confirm your AO claim.

Starting after approximately February 8th 2025, visit the mint site to claim your AO tokens into your Arweave wallet. You must perform this step within the year following its activation.
Please note that this second step is absolutely required in order to claim your AO tokens into your wallet. Simply doing step 1 above without step 2 is not enough to actually take possession of the AO tokens you are eligible to claim.
AO tokens will be transferable after ~15% of the total token supply has been minted (after the 100,000th 5 minute reward period), which will happen on approximately February 8th 2025.
Any tokens not claimed after February 8th, 2026 will be forfeit.
No more AOCRED will be created, and no further plans of Open Access Supercomputing Foundation or Forward Research involving AOCRED exist at this time.
Even though AOCRED will no longer be issued, new quests with wrapped AR will be added soon. In addition, many other projects in the Arweave ecosystem already have incentivized quests to perform.
