AO-Core: Decentralizing the supercomputer.

AO-Core launched along with AO’s native tokens on February 9th, and today the first community-operated mainnet nodes are beginning to be deployed in the network. As well as the general availability of HyperBEAM -- AO’s new groundup node implementation -- we are excited to announce today early access for mainnet Milestone 2: allowing users to run their own nodes on Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs).

How do payments work on AO Mainnet?

Last Saturday, AO Mainnet and its first devices went live. This completely new implementation, called HyperBEAM, takes AO’s original approach of splitting different functionalities into different devices and expands it on a much wider scale. As a result, AO-Core nodes are powerfully flexible in ways that we can’t wait to tell you about. For the curious, here is the HyperBEAM repo with more details.
