Introducing The DERP AIRDROP Campaign

Since DerpDEX launched in June 2023, one of the highlights is that we have allocated a great amount of DERP tokens to the community, where early supporters can get stackable airdrop rewards by participating in different types of activities in the past 6 months. This includes OGs, Testnet users, liquidity providing, trading and more.

As planned, we are finally launching the airdrop campaign after TGE and it's time to reward our early supporters and community members who have been on this derpy journey with us !

The amazing derp ride is about to start and we certainly believe that the airdrop event will bring more $DERP holders and set a great starting point for the next year to come!

Note: We have been hearing feedbacks and suggestions from the community regarding not giving out airdrop for free and also observing the market. And the team has come up with the detailed plans which we think would be the most fair to all community members and $DERP token holders.

The DERP AIRDROP campaign will have two phases! Follow below for the complete details:

PHASE 1 AIRDROP CLAIMING DATE: DECEMBER 27 -31, 2023

Fee: 1% Fee

• Users will need to pay a 1% fee in order to claim their airdrop. WHY? We are enforcing these mechanics to prevent bot claiming. The fee does not go to the team. It will be used to buy additional $DERP instead.

• E.g. If you are claiming $1000 worth of airdrop, you will need to pay 1% (besides of gas fee) to claim. In total, you will have $900 worth of xDerp and $110 worth of $DERP.

• The xDerp amount (90% of the airdrop amount) will be auto staked when you claim your airdrop.

How to participate: Your address should be part of the whitelisted wallets from below categories.

Different category and percentage of airdrops allocated :

• OG Derps - 1% airdrop

• Testnet Users - 1% airdrop

• Beta Mainnet Campaign: 1.5% airdrop

• Genesis Campaign: 4.9% airdrop

• Extended Genesis Mining: 0.4%

• TGE Launch campaign: 2.4%

• L2 chain Ecosystem Users (zkSync, Base , opBNB) : 3% airdrop (1% each chain)

• Other Marketing campaigns

• Loyalty Program : 12% (ongoing till Oct 2024) . User can redeem DERP POINTS to $DERP / xDerp (on separate page)

Who are whitelisted:

All the wallets that have participated in the above categories activities are whitelisted.

How the airdrop amount per wallet is calculated:

• For those activities that related to user onchain transactions (etc adding liquidity , trading from Beta mainnet, Genesis campaign, TGE campaign, Loyalty program) , users will be able to claim the exact amount that were recorded from various smart contracts corresponding to each campaign.

• For the below category, we have decided to give more airdrop per wallet but based on first-come-first-serve FCFS : OG, Testnet, Ecosystem users . See below details:

• All the eligible airdrop amounts are stacked for each wallet and is claimable one time.

PHASE 2 AIRDROP CLAIMING DATE: 31 December -7 January, 2024

All the remaining airdrops will be rolled into phase 2 for claiming and equally distributed to all whitelisted wallets. Read the details claiming rules below:

Fee: $5 Fixed Fee

• Users will need to pay a fixed $5 fee in order to claim their airdrop. WHY? We are enforcing these mechanics to prevent bot claiming. The fee does not go to the team. It will be used to buy additional $DERP instead.

• E.g. If you are claiming $100 worth of airdrop, In total, you will have $90 worth of xDerp and $15 worth of $DERP.

• The remaining airdrop amounts from Phase1 will be equally distributed to all whitelisted wallets on each chain.

• The xDerp will be auto-staked when you claim your airdrop.

How to participate: Your address should be part of the whitelisted wallets same as phase 1.

FAQ:

Q: Why did you add the claiming fee?

A: We are enforcing these mechanics to prevent bot claiming. The fee does not go to the team. It will be used to buy additional $DERP instead. So, real users will actually get more $DERP token when they claim the airdrop.Q: On which chain will I claim the airdrop? A: Please note the claiming chain is different in each airdrop category. Read below to understand:

1.The OG, testnet user airdrop will be able to claim on zkSync.

2.The onchain related activities airdrop will be on the relevant chain itself . (For example user A provided liquidity on zkSync , then the airdrop is claimable on zkSync) .

For trading competition winners, since the reward was calculated based on the total amount traded across chains, we’ve allocated the reward to be claimed on the chain that the user traded the most on.

3.The 3 L2 chain ecosystem users airdrop is claimable on each relevant chain itself. To take note, if the user has different activities on multiple chains, the user needs to switch networks in order to claim airdrop on multiple chains!

Q: Can I move my $DERP on L2 after airdrop claiming to L1?

Q: What happens with the remaining airdrop amount that is not claimed after phase 2?
