Livepeer is happy to announce the Video Miner team, after answering Livepeer’s RFP to take over the technical operations of the Livepeer Community Node and being selected, has completed the transformation of the community node into a transcoding one.

Hype cycles are intense. The mainstreaming of transformative technology inspires innovators and imitators alike, bringing forth grafters and grifters in equal measure. For those on the outside looking in, it can be hard to separate signal from noise; the startups that are changing the world from those that are just changing lanes.

Reflecting on the last period, Livepeer marked its presence emphatically at ETH Denver, engaging deeply in the burgeoning narratives of AI and DePIN. Moreover, it spotlighted innovative builders leveraging Livepeer’s network to create successful products. This convergence of events and initiatives underscored Livepeer’s pioneering role in decentralized video streaming and AI compute, demonstrating its commitment to contribute to the AI, video, and the DePIN space and its dedication to engage and collaborate with the community.

ETHDenver is over, but the lessons it dispensed and the introductions it facilitated will not be forgotten. The opportunity to meet and mingle with so many from the Livepeer community, as well as from the greater web3 ecosystem, was refreshing – as was the chance to talk tech with some of the brightest minds operating at the cutting edge of web3 and AI.

Sanko TV, one of the newest projects built with Livepeer Studio, is a clubhouse for creatives: a SocialFi platform where people can forge connections with like minds through video and reward one another for great content.
