TeslaModel 3 will be introduced into the SayRay AR HUD system for visual navigation and play recreation.
May 31st, 2023

The recent announcement by Say Ray, a Swiss producer of the AR HUD, that the smart AR HUD system will be introduced into the Tesra Model 3 model: Deep Reality. It is known that the Deep Reality Studio programme was launched in 2021 for the first time, with the characteristics of the AR project, which can be traced in depth, not only to provide the drivers with the functions of visual navigation, information alerts, pedestrian and roadblock identification, vehicle spraying, etc., but also to provide passengers with recreational content such as the AR games. The Model 3 vehicle model of the ARHUD programme will take the lead in entering the Swiss market and will be sold in the United States.

It is understood that Deep Reality will allow for the interaction of AR with the surrounding environment, such as transforming the road into a play card, allowing vehicles to obtain a virtual currency or showing musical songs on the road. We know that the usual AR HUD focussed on showing information within the driver’s line, thereby supporting driving. By contrast, there are fewer cases in which ARHUD is actually used for entertainment, and it is therefore expected that Watay Ray technology will be used in Model 3.

In fact, the main screens laid down in Model 3 have supported recreational functions such as film, play games, but there is only one screen in the car and passengers and drivers need to be shared. At the same time, the AR can project images on front-loaded wind glass, showing that the range can exceed the existing screen. Therefore, if ARHUD is used, passengers and drivers may be given different experience in the immediate future. Users are said to be able to customize and adjust the information presented by AR HUD.
