Well, are we real?

What is real, am I real, are you real, is this thing that you are reading real? Where are you? More importantly, when are you? Are the years that you believe behind you actually behind you? In front of you? Again, when are you?

Physical reality likes us to believe that it is all that exists. It’s so simple that not only do we believe this quite easily, we will also defend it until we are shown different through our own experience. It’s not until you see the picture fly off the mantle, actually elevate to a higher level, then fall to the floor that you begin to question reality. This is the beginning of the end for you my friend in sorry to say, for once you have seen the simple truth in action that there is more to existence then this physical plane we all live on currently you begin to question everything. Everything suddenly seems plausible, and you get glimpses of past moments in your life where you realize you might not have been as alone as you think you were.

Then you remember daydreaming, like a child in school floating out of your desk and up to the ceiling of the classroom, over the teachers shoulder to see what’s next in the book. She asks a question that brings new material to your mind, something you’ve never thought or heard before, and without hesitation you answer out loud and in that moment you are sucked back into your body at your desk and you realize that your teacher is looking at you in pure disbelief for she is certain you have not covered this before. You haven’t, you saw the answer in her book as she read it aloud because you had unknowingly sent your consciousness out of your body and across the room in what you call a daydream. Perhaps now you call it Deja-vu since you answered a question you had no earthly way of knowing, never the less you are suddenly aware of something more to this world then your simple, physical self.

Do you remember waking in the middle of the night to look out your window and it wasn’t dark? It wasn’t sunlight, but somehow it was 3am and glowing bright as day as if something out of a cartoon. Remember? Remember giant footprints in the yard as you frantically looked around in a panic not knowing where to go or what to do, just knowing you were afraid. Do you remember?

Do you?

Do you remember who we are? Who you are? Who I am?

Do you remember what this all means?
