As usual, we’re back to let you know what we’ve been up to this month and all the latest roll outs from our growing team and community.
MULTI-CHAIN.
We recently came to the strategic decision that in order for our Crypto-Novels to reach as many people as possible, and to maximise the number of quality contributions, it was imperative that we adapted our format to allow for novels to be launched on multiple chains.
The challenge we initially faced from a build perspective, was to ensure that $QEV tokens can be distributed to contributors on other chains, despite the token claim contract being on Moonbeam.
After two weeks of investigation and conversation over interoperability, our co-founder and lead developer @andreluquee successfully managed to send a message between Ethereum and Moonbeam using a GMP protocol by Hyperlane, bringing us a step further towards multi-chain novel distribution.
Using the Hyperlane bridge to communicate with the NFT smart contract, we would be able to launch novels on Ethereum, Polygon, Binance, Avalanche and Moonbeam.
The only difference from our prior Moonbeam-centric model is that going multi-chain requires that novels on each network have their own royalty pool in the chain’s native currency. This means that a novel on Ethereum will not share a royalty pool with a novel on Avalanche, and therefore sales of the novel on Ethereum will not incur royalty pay outs to contributors to the novel on Avalanche.
Needless to say, successfully testing the multi-chain system will delay the launch of The Oracle’s Verse slightly, but we hope that this decision will open the door for creatives on multiple networks to join TQOE, and begin accruing value through our Crypto-Novels. We will be targeting some of the biggest ERC-2981 compatible NFT marketplaces out there, promoting user-friendly checkout systems like Moonpay, and tapping into multiple massive NFT communities simultaneously.
TOKEN AIRDROPS: THE WRITE-LIST
Since we minted the $QEV tokens to our community joint incentives treasury, we’ve been receiving a lot of enquiries about airdrops and how we are going to approach distribution.

The Write-List is a token airdrop whitelist channel in the Discord, where you drop in your wallet address to become one of the first 500 people in the world to receive $QEV tokens…
But it isn’t quite that simple.
In order to gain access to the private channel, the following steps need to be completed:

Complete all our Tavern Keeper Quests.
Tavern Keeper quests are guided tours of our Discord server designed to familiarise people with our project. They take you over everything from our novel characters to our tokenomics model, and ensure that members who make it to our Write-List are armed with all the information required to become a thriving member of our community.
There are twenty quests in total, that shouldn’t take more than a couple of Discord visits to complete. To embark on your first quest, just type /tk into our #🍺tavernkeeper channel in the Discord.
THE QUESTARIAN
Our weekly Town Halls have become the primary point of conversation between our core team and our early community members, giving us the opportunity to update everyone on our progress.
Starting last week, we’re going to be crystallising these conversations into short newspaper-clipping summaries, as in the image above. These will be made available in the Discord, and in future we will consider minting them as free collectibles!
