Over the past year Fraktal has evolved from a simple NFT marketplace into a Foundational NFT Protocol which can be used across the entire ecosystem to drive utility to NFTs instead of the current, limited state of speculating and collecting.

What started off as a mission to build a fractional NFT marketplace has expanded into building core infrastructure for the NFT ecosystem.

Fractionalization unlocks the utility of NFTs by creating a trustworthy pricing source, liquidity to enable broader usage in DeFi and offers an on-chain method for distributing royalties and asset revenue to multiple owners such as band members who collaborate on a specific song.

As discussed in our last blog, Introducing CCOs,a Community Contribution Offering is a new fundraising model introduced by DaoHaus that has the potential to transform the way start-ups raise capital. We are proposing to use a modified version of the CCO as a mechanism to bootstrap NFT DAOs to build their initial NFT portfolio.

The Fraktal DAO on Arbitrum is the holy grail of the Fraktal ecosystem. It manages the marketplace, fees, funds and the protocol for fractionalizing NFTs. The more protocol usage, the more fees are collected and distributed to members of the DAO. We designed a model where users are paid to participate, which we believe is the future for any type of voting mechanisms or governance.
