Hello there! I'm a multidisciplinary designer with over 10 years of experience crafting user-centered experiences and building strong brands. I've worked with global advertising firms, in-house design teams for large clients, and recently delved into the exciting world of Web3 startups (remote).
I am passionate about Web3 and the future it holds. I believe that the new models of rewards, transparency, ownership, and decentralisation offered by web3 have the potential to revolutionise the internet and create a more equitable and democratic society. I am also impressed by the emerging apps and brands that are building on web3 like Zora, Farcaster, Mirror, Sound, Rainbow, Decent, FWB, Interface and Base by Coinbase. I am excited to be a part of this emerging field and to help build the next generation of web3 experiences!
Flexible work schedule, available to collaborate remotely across global time zones.
I started my design career in advertising, working at TBWA, Leo Burnett, and McCann, where I worked on global consumer brands. Over the time, I realised that people recall better when they experience, over what they see or read. This led me to explore the intersection of technology and design, and during 2014 I took a study break for a Digital Media course at Hyper Island Manchester.
Upon returning, I joined Wieden+Kennedy as a Digital Creative for Government of Indiaʼs Make in India program. I kept the brand design minimal and vibrant, while ensuring that the overall user experience surpassed expectations for a government website. In 2 years, the Make in India initiative was a global brand, and it helped to put India on the global map as a major manufacturing hub.
After spending 12 years in advertising, I got an opportunity to build brands from the client side, working for a vegan candy brand. I was responsible for developing the brand's identity, the online storefront and creating its marketing materials across all verticals.
Post this, I was a creative consultant for Lightspeed Venture Partners with their outreach events and brand building in India. I developed various branded properties and created marketing materials targeting the Indian startup community.
For the past three years, I've served as Head of Design (remote) at Coinvise, a pioneering web3 startup. As the first designer on the team, I played a key role in shaping the company's brand identity and designing our product offerings. I'm grateful to the founder & CEO Jenil for trusting me with this opportunity, and to my team for their continuous support and collaboration. My experience at Coinvise has allowed me to hone my skills in UI/UX design, brand strategy, and leading the design function in a fast-paced environment (remote).
Coinvise (June 2021 - April 2024)
Coinvise (Series A) is a no-code platform that helps Creators grow and monetize Web3 communities. Creators can use Coinvise to create campaigns to find new community members, raise funds using custom membership tiers, and build incentives around their social tokens. Coinvise's tools are easy to use and accessible to creators of all levels of experience.
As the first designer on the Coinvise team, I was responsible for shaping the company's brand personality and product design. I worked closely with the engineering and product teams to translate our vision into tangible interfaces, and I led the iterative design process for our suite of products (Tokens, Campaigns, and Memberships).
I also conceptualized, designed, and refined the Coinvise visual identity, including the logo, typefaces, color schemes, and communication design.I created a comprehensive design system that encapsulates our methodologies, standards, and brand guidelines. This system has helped us to maintain a consistent brand identity across all of our products and marketing materials.
I am passionate about designing user-centred experiences that are both visually appealing and functionally effective. I am also skilled in leading and managing design teams, and I have a proven track record of delivering high- quality work on time and within project budgets.
