It’s been an interesting few weeks in the crypto world. I’ve been invited to contribute to a lot of projects, Time and Fort are both going through big changes and lots of drama. Markets are dramatically crashing down, and I’m still working steadily towards my dream of leaving my 9 - 5 and being financially secure enough to work < 20 hours per week.

FortressDAO is a project I’ve been contributing to for the last few weeks as a trial run to become a salaried dev. The community has been unhappy since Avraham and the Arce Deum developed FUSD as a side venture paid for by the community treasury while the community thought it was going to be owned by FortressDAO. As the sentiment began to settle down and positive trajectory seemed within reach, a unilateral decision was made to move MIM holdings into FUSD along with the USDCe that had been discussed. The community is once again outraged and I’m wondering what is left for me to be able to do to help.

Sifu, one of the treasury managers of TIME has been doxxed and outted as someone with a dicey legal history in the world of finance. TIME made a dramatic 90% drop over the last 7 days, 40% just in the last 24 hours since this announcement was made. I hold TIME and I’m wondering if buying the blood and selling on any treasury buybacks might be a good short term play. Not planning on selling my original holdings just yet, waiting on the early seed investments to pay off long term is probably the better play for that.

I have a handful of really great web3 utility ideas that I’m going to work on. Follow along here for first glimpses and announcements as these products become a reality. I’ll be trying to solve 2-3 common problems I’m seeing in the crypto space and I’m really excited to share them with the world.
