Traditional branding is dead. Web3 brands require different processes, increased speed, and new environments to reach a new dimension. At FLOC*, we have been in the Crypto ecosystem for over 4 years and are aware of the pace at which information moves in the age of hyper-creativity. We are constantly experiencing changes that relate new co-creation currents to emerging technologies such as blockchain and artificial intelligence. That's why we now want to launch a new product that addresses the needs of new 3.0 brands.

A collaborative express brand building in Spatial

As the first step, we propose creating an MVP to validate the Brand3 methodology within the Metaverse. In this case, we have chosen Spatial because it is a 2.5 virtual world that promotes access and easy adoption by all audiences. We want to create a strategy and creativity Jam Session to bring a brand to life in just 4 phases of 1.5 hours each. In this initial experience, we will use 4 weeks of action, but this will help us test the model and refine its scope. We also want to validate the number of participants and the tools to create a dynamic and immersive public construction system.

Building with communities to create brand loyalty

In this initial proof of concept, we have established a partnership with MetaCharlas: The interactive podcast in the Metaverse. The spark came when we were invited to participate in this format a few weeks ago: Ep 3. FLOC*; exploring the #Brand3 process. Here we discovered the potential of this immersive program led by @kafcrypto, @carmonpa1 and @juanmasdrr. Three builders with a promising journey in the ecosystem of DAOs, NFTs, and Web3. As we discussed how we have created more open, dynamic, and adaptive brands for the new era of the internet, we thought about taking it a step further. That's why it makes perfect sense to create a partnership and together begin to build this roadmap:

MetaBranding: The value of the Brand3 strategy to dive into new virtual universes

I have been thinking for a while about how the brand creation process needs to improve in terms of community involvement and adapting to new immersive environments. That's why, when I was invited to participate in @TheCollective_B, I wanted to explore and address the topic of evolving branding in conjunction with the Metaverse.

Our goal is to begin a journey to explore the possibilities of brands entering the Metaverse. To continue researching and analyzing the potential offered by creating a solid, effective, and creative Brand3 strategy that ensures success. Our constant curiosity in observing how other brands carry out actions through NFTs, DAOs, Web3, and AI shows us that value-added solutions are being considered today. But our intention is always to stay ahead of the trend. We want to explore the actions and tactics that empower people and help define their roles within the organization, always aligned with the culture of Brand3.

MVP Session Planning: Jam Sessions V.0.1

Session 1: Workshop (March 22)

The first session will be for getting to know the project, asking questions, and generating debate to draw insights and initial ideas.

  • Transfer the content to Notion to summarize and select the best ideas.

  • Spatial + Figma Jam → Brand3 WorkFLOC*

Session 2: Moodboard (April 5)

In this session, we will generate creative concepts related to the strategy developed in the workshop.

  • Bring ideas from session 1 to session 2

  • Work on creative concepts and translate them into visual and narrative metaphors

  • Spatial + Pinterest + Figma

Session 3: Identity (April 12)

Through the concepts, start designing creative routes.

  • Think of an atomic-level identifier

  • Create a logotype (typographic part) + symbol

  • Spatial + Figma + Illustrator

Session 4: System (April 19)

Choose the most aligned creative routes with the project and synthesize them to define the style.

  • Define typography, colors, illustrations, photographs, and other visual resources.

  • Identify the main applications.

  • Spatial + Figma + Illustrator + Notion

What's next?

We don't know yet. But we will draw conclusions at each stage of the process. We love the idea of continuing to propose NaaS (NFT as a Service), perhaps this will serve to pivot the initial idea of Beach Coolers. We are also exploring the idea of launching NFTs as rewards for loyalty and participation in each phase. Or, if all goes well, we could create NFTickets to finance the MetaBranding process by communities and focus on building these new brands in the ecosystem. Undoubtedly, this new idea opens up new avenues for exploration in branding and communities.
