I’ve been minting my creative process weekly for months, and this week the gas fees were around triple their usual on Zora - so I thought I’d try minting this week’s song “Past Lives (V2 dem0)” on OpenSea. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to upload this adjacent [+ important!] description successfully, so I’ve shared it here on Mirror in lieu. It ended up being a happy accident, as this medium has actually allowed me to add supporting photo artifacts - an unexpected perk!

Supporting Artifacts: The bts footage from this video was actually filmed while recording this track, Past Lives. The song in that ended up in the video, Fine Diamonds, was also made there with Enton, so we just used the footage with that track. Shout outs to Marissa Nicole for filming + editing!
Notes: Enton the producer is a super spiritual dude, so I'm not surprised this song came out as it did! We were probably having hella deep talks that day :3 I LOVE this song, however the genre is not what I’d specifically want to be known for, so I doubt this will ever be released anywhere else.

Final Notes: I have never fallen in love with a woman or non-binary femme, but I've had crushes and been attracted to girls since I was like 12. After a few dates, I always just want to go back to being friends. For me, making love to Christina was more about expressing my devotion to the Divine, rather than to her as someone whom I wanted to be in a relationship with. Because of the confusion and hurt this dynamic can cause, I rarely hook up with girls or femmes, even if there is a spark. I wonder if Christina will be the last woman I'll ever have slept with.
On 11/11 2018, a few months after this song was made, Christina was with me the moment I realized that my spirit was non-binary. She has played a very important part in my journey, and though we're no longer in touch, I will honour her role in my life forever <3
