OPEN in motion: integrations, ticketing, and the road ahead

Let’s face it—ticketing’s been broken for a long time. You know it. We know it. Everyone who's ever been hit with a surprise €12 “processing fee” for a PDF knows it. So far this year, we didn’t just talk about fixing it. We shipped. We partnered. We minted. We proved, one ticket at a time, that open infrastructure works—and that the future doesn’t need a barcode. It needs a backbone.

New partners, new integrations, and a growing network of creators, organizers, and builders choosing openness over opacity. We get reminded everyday exactly why we started OPEN in the first place. Here’s what we’ve been up to recently.

Smooth as zkTLS: Sophon integration update

We recently went live with our integration into Sophon, and it’s been one of the smoothest onramps we’ve experienced to date. Since launch, we’ve already issued 122244 tickets through their zero-knowledge stack—scalable, secure, and lightning fast.

“Plugging into Sophon was one of the smoothest experiences we’ve had so far. zkTLS just works. And that means we can focus on building, not debugging.” - Kasper Keunen, blockchain developer OPEN.

Working with zkTLS is a perfect fit for us: no compromises on speed, privacy, or integrity. Just efficient, programmable ticketing infrastructure—exactly how it should be.

Azerion closes a strong season - with more on the way

This past football season, we powered digital collectibles across multiple clubs in collaboration with Azerion. Think matchday moments, captured and claimed by fans—tokens of memory that live on long after the final whistle.

Over the course of the season, fans collected 848488 digital collectibles, tied to real moments, real matches, and real ownership. Just pure, onchain mementos.

Looking ahead, Azerion is scaling up in the upcoming 2025-2026 season. More clubs, deeper integrations, and a fresh batch of digital experiences that make being a fan feel like being part of something bigger. Season tickets may still exist—but the game has changed.

Suzan & Freek + Racoon: Amsterdam went onchain

From May 23 to 25, two of the biggest names in Dutch music, Suzan & Freek and Racoon, played back-to-back shows in Amsterdam’s two most iconic venues: the Ziggo Dome and AFAS Live. And all their ticketing? Fully onchain. Powered by OPEN.

Thousands of fans. Four major concerts. Two massive venues - at the same time. This wasn’t just a win for us - it was a signal to the entire industry: even the busiest, most high-stakes venues in the country can run onchain ticketing without friction.

The ticketing for these shows was handled by CM.com, who acquired GUTS Tickets earlier this year. The result? CM’s powerful distribution and support network, now paired with OPEN’s fully onchain infrastructure. A rare combo—battle-tested in the heart of the Dutch live scene.

No fakes. No scalping. No bottlenecks. Just seamless, verifiable access at the highest level of live entertainment.

Bijlmer lit up - and OPEN made sure every ticket was real.

As we write this, news broke that Freek has been diagnosed with incurable lung cancer. It's devastating, and our thoughts are with him, Suzan, their loved ones, and everyone in their circle. That these Ziggo Dome shows now mark such a profound moment in their journey makes them all the more meaningful. We’re grateful we could help bring those nights to life. We wish Freek all the strength and courage in the time ahead ❤️.

Visionair opens new doors with onchain ticketing

Contemporary art collective Visionair is using OPEN to rethink what a ticket can be - and they’re not messing around. Their upcoming expos are combining access with story, using programmable tickets that double as certified entry and curated content triggers.

This is more than just getting through the door. It’s ticketing as a gateway to the experience itself - transparent, collectible, and designed for the digital-first generation. Stay tuned. Visionair’s next shows are going to be something else.

Tessera Ticketing brings the twin

Through our partnership with Visionair we’re also welcoming Tessera Ticketing to the OPEN ecosystem - one of the first to fully embrace digital twins for event access. Their tickets aren’t just proof of purchase - they’re programmable access points, each one traceable and transparently issued from the first click to the final scan.

Think concerts, conferences, and curated events, where organizers know exactly who’s attending and what they’re unlocking. With OPEN as the backend, Tessera’s turning ticketing into something smarter - and more secure - than ever before.

Sophon TGE: may 28 — and yes, Binance

If you’ve been staking $OPN on Sophon, mark your calendars: Sophon’s token generation event is happening May 28, with a direct listing on Binance and other major exchanges.

No gimmicks. No gotchas. If you farmed $SOPH, you’ll want to be ready.

🤐

From smooth zk integrations to stadiums and art galleries, OPEN is scaling real-world ticketing - and proving that blockchains can serve people, not just protocols.

As usual we can’t disclose what else is brewing, but it’s big. All the while the next wave of partners is already lining up. More tickets. More trust. More builders choosing infrastructure that works the way it should.
