Chiudere un capitolo è sempre un mix di emozioni. Nelle ultime due settimane, dopo aver saltato un aggiornamento (colpa mia, non dei mercati), ho deciso di chiudere definitivamente questa strana e affascinante avventura nel mondo delle memecoin. Mi sono divertito, ho sperato, ho vinto (e perso), ma ora sono giunto alla fine del primo atto.

Closing a chapter is always a mix of emotions. Over the past two weeks, after skipping an update (my fault, not the market's), I decided to definitively close this strange and fascinating adventure in the world of memecoins. I had fun, I hoped, I won (and lost), but now I’ve reached the end of the first act.

I decided to start writing a journal about trading memecoins. I was definitely influenced by the algorithm, which often shows me people flaunting astronomical profits online (real or, more likely, fake). So, together with a couple of friends, I decided to give it a shot. I've been in the trading world for 5 years, and more importantly, I’ve spent those 5 years studying narratives, technologies, projects, and tokens every single day.

Ho deciso di iniziare a scrivere un diario sul trading di memecoin. Sono stato sicuramente influenzato dall’algoritmo, che spesso mi mostra persone che vantano guadagni astronomici online (veri o, molto più probabilmente, fasulli). Così, con un paio di amici, ho deciso di provarci anche io. Sono nel mondo del trading da 5 anni e, soprattutto, da 5 anni studio ogni giorno narrative, tecnologie, progetti e token.

Stavo riflettendo sulla potenza dell'immagine di profilo di un individuo online. Non so se capita anche a voi, ma quando vedo l'immagine di profilo di una persona, immagino il collegamento con la persona reale: il tono, i modi, persino il carisma.

I’ve been reflecting on the power of an individual’s profile picture online. I don’t know if this happens to you as well, but when I see someone’s profile picture, I imagine how it connects to the real person—their tone, their mannerisms, even their charisma.

I want to reflect, personally, on my situation and my work environment. Nothing that follows is made up, and I ask those who read this not to approach it with the perception of someone who is merely complaining, but rather as someone who feels alone, professionally speaking, and is seeking engagement with others who have been in the same situation.
