Frames is a 110 piece NFT collection comprising of single frames taken form the ‘Hold Me’ music video.

Music forms only part of an artist's output. Frames isn't about recreating music formats but exploring what blockchain can do around music.

As with other releases in my journey I’m interested in the life of a song, not just as an audio file but exploring where that value lies in the world that’s built around it. The blockchain has been an exciting and refreshing place for me to explore my passion for world building and creating connections, and Frames is the next stepping stone on the way to bigger things.

Collect and take part:

Frames has been created to enable collectors to help fundraise to build the project titled ‘Scenes’ that will take place in summer 2023 and all collectors will be able to participate in the first submission round of the Scenes project.

We as musicians have been battered into believing that its not ok to ask for money… why? It’s ok for Twitch streamers and You-tubers to ask for subscriptions and tips to support their output.. why is music so different? Our art at the moment relies on streaming which does not pay enough, and the ones that get to the point where it does pay have investment from label and corporations to get there. To be able to experiment and grow as independent artists we need investment, and as a scene we need different voices, styles, approaches and more artists crossing the visibility threshold, attracting varied audiences, and fostering unique identities. This is my first drop that is openly about building for the future and talking about how your contribution creates value in the Sound of Fractures ecosystem.

I hope and I want to show that the blockchain allows us to continuously re-develop new ways of growing as artists and standing out provided by the flexibility of the tech we have at our disposal.
