This May 1st, thousands of builders from all around the world have their names lighting up the most famous square in the world. For a brief moment, the heart of New York City became a monument to the unsung heroes building the new internet.

On this day, onchain builders got the recognition they deserve.

From Words to Worldwide Recognition

It all started one year ago with the Manifesto for Onchain Builders, which coined May 1st as a day to celebrate the ones building a better tomorrow. The manifesto was minted as an NFT by thousands of people and organizations, creating the first-ever Builders Day.

But manifestos are just words unless followed by action. For 2025, we wanted to go bigger and build something with lasting impact. While Times Square captures attention, the real monument we're unveiling today will outlast any billboard: the first Verified Registry of Onchain Builders.

Introducing the Builder Registry

In a space where anyone can claim to be a "builder," the Builder Registry offers something invaluable: onchain verification by trusted protocols, companies, and communities who can attest that someone is genuinely building.

This isn't just another list. It's an open primitive (built using Ethereum Attestation Service) that anyone can leverage to find, recognize, and reward the people actually adding value.

Discovering real builders shouldn't be this hard. The most valuable contributors aren't always the loudest voices. The Builder Registry transforms "builder" from a self-claimed title into a meaningful, verified credential.
