We created Zeevo for creators and organizations to interact with friends, fans, and the community. In its most simple form, Zeevo can be used to collect feedback, ideas, and direction. In that regard, you can think of Zeevo as forms software. In Zeevo land, a form is called a sequence, and when a user completes a sequence, they are rewarded with a customized proof of participation(PoP) NFT.
While our long-term vision includes a myriad of use-cases, we chose to focus on DAOs for the initial launch. As DAOs evolve and grow, coordination becomes difficult. We saw DAOs using outdated forms software and knew that we could do better. Heavily inspired by an Owocki tweet on the perils of Moloch and the promise of coordination, we decided to build the Zeevo MVP with DAOs in mind.
We think Zeevo makes sense for DAOs. For example, by connecting a PoP NFT to a sequence, we give DAOs an on-chain way to track member participation that doesn't rely on a 3rd party. In addition to the raw value of the feedback itself, DAOs can now quickly answer questions like, "Who helped us shape direction last month" by looking at who holds their PoP NFTs. Zeevo PoP NFTs are more soulbound, less BAYC.
Enough talk! We poked around the Gitcoin governance forms a bit and found a super interesting proposal on the planned evolution of Gitcoin Grants from V1 to V2. We took that and turned it into a quick sequence. You can find that sequence here.
Zeevo is still a baby. We've been in active development for three months and recently opened up for alpha testing on 5/18/22. We've not yet done any actual design, UI, or UX work.
