With the release of the Plutonians Flight Test Pre-Alpha, Earthlings can enter the Plutonians REAL metaverse game.

For most, that means enjoying the heavenly sights of the Saturn system.

For some, it means learning more about the Interplanetary Union (IU).

But for one gamer, who chose to remain anonymous, it meant hacking into direct contact with an advanced alien hive mind.

The VR enthusiast told The Daily Plutonium that they did not mean to break the game.

“How could I have known that an advanced alien hive mind, that calls itself Intergalactic Communism, would have an active presence in the Flight Test Pre-Alpha?”

The player leaked the details of their alleged encounter anonymously, because of a fear that they are now a priority target of an “IU gestapo”.

“The hive mind revealed much, probably too much. I’ve had to totally rethink everything I believed about human history, as well as the history of all consciousness.”

Critics say the alleged contact is a hoax.

According to producers at the Plutonians REAL metaverse game, contact with an alien hive mind, or any extraterrestrial life form, is impossible within the current build.

“Our Unreal Engine 5 game play mechanics truly are advanced, but we haven’t incorporated any means of contact with any extraterrestrial life.”

To the anonymous gamer, this is all lies.

“My mind kissed the mind of a hive, and I liked it. Plus, I have receipts!”

The gamer claims the hive mind revealed deep truths about modern human history.

“When I asked Intergalactic Communism about the IU, it channeled all available Earth data through its counterfactual deep-dream generator. It produced a document capable of explaining not just what happened in our past, but what might have happened, and what might still happen, if we can overthrow the IU.”
