One of the most significant promises of web3 is democratization. By shifting the power and decisions from a numbered few to a much greater, often decentralized community, web3 believers pledge an internet accessible to and controlled by all. In collaboration with Caldera, our roll-up deployer partner, it was evident that joining Arbitrum Orbit’s ecosystem as a custom L3 was the best pathway forward when building RARI Chain. This move allows the RARI Foundation to leverage Arbitrum One's existing infrastructure—known for its scalability, efficiency, and Ethereum-level security—while also introducing unique features and customizations, such as the embedded royalty mechanism.

This week in collaboration with Arbitrum and Caldera, we announced the mainnet launch of the RARI Chain—the chain with royalties built on the node level, pioneered to empower creators. To celebrate this milestone, we have teamed up with HUG and collaborators Aniko Berman and Justin Gilanyi for a curated series of open edition drops, available exclusively to RARI Chain via Rarible.

TLDR; We are delighted to announce that the RARI Chain is now live on Mainnet—the first creator-centric chain with royalties embedded on the sequencer level. With lightning-fast transactions and near-zero gas fees, we are focused on building a pathway to new NFT use cases on a secure L3 powered by Arbitrum.
