I had a tremendous experience onboarding into a DAO this evening. And as I contributed to another team’s discord design, it inspired me to record my impressions about how various DAOs tackle onboarding and what’s good and bad about their experiences.

I planned on writing a post detailing how I set my 2020 goals today. Instead, I got sidetracked tonight (i.e., prioritized) engaging with a few Crypto projects, most notably LinksDao and RabbitHole, so that post will have to wait.

I’ve blogged on and off since I started teaching in 2008. I’ve never quit for any particular reason, always for the same reason people quit most things: because they stop committing.

Last week I previewed my OKRs for 2022. That post was my public commitment to the goals I want to reach by the end of the year.
