This month’s stake.link Community Update publication comes as we are 1/3 of the way done with Q2 2024 as well as the 2024 year—and we couldn’t be prouder of the achievements accomplished in the month of April.

This publication marks stake.link’s final update and conclusion to Q1 2024. 25% of the year is complete, and we’re heading into Q2 with momentum. Collectively, we have much to be proud of as stake.link continues to remain at the forefront of innovation in the Chainlink Ecosystem.

Q1 2024 can be best described for the stake.link protocol as the quarter of “firsts.”

We’re excited to announce that stake.link has integrated Chainlink CCIP—the industry standard for secure cross-chain interoperability—across Ethereum and Arbitrum mainnets. We’re leveraging CCIP’s Simplified Token Transfer capabilities to facilitate cross-chain LINK Staking and native protocol asset management, enabling users to bridge wrapped staked LINK (wstLINK) as well as the stake.link protocol token SDL to Arbitrum. For the first time, users are able to gain exposure to LINK Staking outside of Ethereum mainnet.

It's our privilege to announce that for the first time, LINK Staking is going cross-chain via stake.link’s deployment to Arbitrum utilizing Chainlink Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP). Starting today, and marking another first for both stake.link and CCIP, users are able interact directly with Chainlink CCIP to bridge the stake.link protocol token SDL as well as the wrapped staked LINK (wstLINK) token from Ethereum mainnet to Arbitrum mainnet.

It’s the end of the first month of 2024, and today, we’re recapping all things stake.link for the month of January.

As we wind down the 2023 year, we want to say thank you to all those involved in the stake.link protocol.

This week, we conclude November 2023 and enter the last month of 2023. This month’s community update covers lots ranging from Twitter Spaces to collaborative efforts to protocol updates / SLURPs and data analytics / metrics reports.

This Friday marks the roll out of our fourth piece to stake.link’s Meet the Nodes series. The protocol is committed to introducing and showcasing the member-node operators of stake.link, how they came to be, what they’re working on, why Chainlink, why stake.link, and what they envision a Chainlinked future looks like.
