Our last DAO article was read by many people!

I'm happy to have played a part in raising the level of understanding of DAO in Japan, and leaving the overview of DAO to that article, I'd like to dig a little deeper into the ideological aspect this time.

We are pleased to announce the release of YoursDAO (https://www.yoursdao.xyz/).

YoursDAO is a DAO database platform that facilitates the matching of people who want to work for a DAO with DAOs who want to hire talented people. This project was born out of that.

Recently, I've been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to talk about DAO/web3 in a variety of venues, including podcasts and corporate study groups.

At these events, I often tell people that DAO is a community of members who sympathize with the realization of the mission, and that the characteristic of DAO is that the incentives of the community match the incentives of the individuals.

In a sense, actions for one's own benefit are tied to the benefit of the entire community. I believe that this is the most ideal DAO.

Looking back at the trends in regards to web3, 2020 was the year of DeFi, 2021 was the year of NFT and crypto games, and 2022 will see a bigger focus on DAO.

DAO is an abbreviation for "Decentralized Autonomous Organization," which translates to "autonomous decentralized organization" in Japanese. If you hear that much, you might be thinking, "What? In simple terms, it's like a company without a president.

A DAO is an organization in which members autonomously provide value and promote the business toward the realization of the mission without the presence of managers such as shareholders, executives, or directors (the organization part can also be referred to as a community or company, and is sometimes called a DAC).
