For years, Live Nation and Ticketmaster have dominated the live event industry, controlling nearly every aspect of ticketing, venues, and promotion. Their monopoly has resulted in inflated ticket prices, exorbitant fees, and restrictive contracts that squeeze out competition. Fans, artists, and venues alike suffer under this exploitative model, and breaking free has seemed impossible—until now.

The way to become a winner in the crypto industry has more to do with the amount of attention you can draw to the project than actual usage. The OGs in the crypto industry know this. Since OPEN will see its ticket volume increase enormously in the coming period and the usage department is therefore doing well, we will have to focus on the attention war, and for this, we need your help. On the 17th & 19th December, Antoon, the Netherland’s most listened to artist on Spotify in 2022, gave sold-out performances to crowds of excited fans at the Ziggo Dome venue in Amsterdam.

It’s been 195 days since we revealed OPEN, the home for onchain ticketing and an ecosystem designed to change the events industry for the better. Since that launch moment a lot has happened internally, from the build out of new products, the addition of new integrators and a renewed team structure. Whilst plenty has gone on behind the scenes, we’re eager to finally share this with you, the community and reveal the exciting road ahead.

We’ve all been there. Waiting in the digital queue overcome with a bitter mix of excitement yet anticipation, anxious to see whether tickets are still available and at what price they may possibly be. ‘Surely they’re not sold out already’, you think to yourself.
