As Season 5 comes to an end, the off-season is the time for building and for me, I have decided to move to a new platform - Paragraph.xyz - for my blog as Paragraph.xyz offers more functionalities that are in-line with what I need. We are less than 2 days away from the end of Season 5 and the competition at the top is fierce despite the decay bug. While we see the same main archetypes as the Top of the Leaderboard as last week, there has been quite a bit of optimisation and shifts in cards, runes, and charms within the individual archetypes. (Yes, we have a Raven’s Tactic meta!)

We are now in the Mystic Era of Season 5 of Axie Infinity: Origins. As usual, there is a lot of experimentation at the beginning of the Era. For this Meta Report, I decided to focus on the most popular archetypes as data from uncommon archetypes are less reliable due to low sample sizes. By now you may be bored of playing (against) Leafy, Poison, Topaz, Sustain, Hot Butt, Jinx etc. from the Epic Era. If you are looking for something else to play in this Mystic Era, read on to see some not so common archetypes that made it to the Top 1000. Maybe you can find some inspirations to build your own team to make it to the top!

Venoki is making a comeback in the late Epic Era of Season 5 in Axie Infinity: Origins. We also see a significant amount of Confused teams at the Top 100. The meta is certainly looking relatively diverse compared to previous seasons.

Today, Sky Mavis just dropped a protoype for a project that they have been teasing for the past few days called Project T. It is a social platform where you get to interact with your Axies and chat, hangout, and play mini-games with other players.

Currently there are so many viable archetypes in the Epic Era of Season 5 in Axie Infinity: Origins. While you probably have a good idea of most popular archetypes such as Leafy, Topaz, Sustain, Poison, Jinx etc. There are some archetypes that are less popular but certainly worth investigating.

We are now in the Epic Era of Season 5 in Axie Infinity: Origins and the meta is more diverse than ever! This is certainly a great time to be playing Axie Origins with some many different archetypes being viable to compete at the Top of the Leaderboard.

As we are nearing the end of the Rare Era in Season 5 of Axie Infinity: Origins, let’s see how the meta is like to help with our final push in the Rare Era.
