According to the Wilder Nation’s ancient legends, thousands of years ago the giant Wolf King and his pack emerged from the forest before wrecking havoc on the surrounding Wilder Tribes and their villages. It is said that the legendary Wolf King could grow to the size of a mountain in the presence of any opponent, and some even claim to have seen a devine third eye upon its temple. One thing that remains true throughout the many versions of this tale, is that countless members of the Wilder Nation perished at the fangs of the Wolf King and his pack. The Wolf King could spot a mouse in the distance from miles away, and could even see in pitch black with its Devine third eye, rendering all ambushes staged by the Wilder Tribe after dark completely ineffective.

The ancestors of the Wilder Nation thought up a cunning plan to deceive the Wolf King. They made masks and head coverings using the skulls of their people and other animals that had been gnawed to the bone by the wolves, then disguised themselves as carcasses in order to ambush the wolf at the dead of night during a blood red moon. They gingerly  approached the wolf before launching hundreds of spears into the its third eye from underneath their disguises, instantly blinding him. Their remaining spears pierced the wolf’s torso, causing him to howl in agony before retreating to the refuge of the dense forest, pack entail, never to be seen again.  The God of Death was impressed with the Wilder Tribes’ cunning tactics that had earned them triumph in this unprecedented moment which unbeknownst to them, would pave the way for their fate to repeat itself once more in the generations to come.  Since that day onward, the custom of adorning oneself with bones became one of the Wilder Nation’s most universal traditions, interpreted by many as being what allows them to evade the gaze of the God of Death.

Members of the Wilder Clans often choose to record history of this significant legend through their tattoos and totem engravings, including depictions of the giant wolf and his pack, the three eyed wolf, wolves being attacked by hundreds of spears, the crescent moon, or even human and animal skulls.

Like any civilisation living in light after dark, the Wilder Tribes are no exception when it comes to sharing their own legends recounting how their people came to possess the revolutionary gift of fire. It is said that millions of years ago, the Wilder Tribes once lived on vast glacial plains that stretched on for as far as the eye could see. These ancestors of the current Wilder Tribes lived in total darkness after sundown, save for the eternal light of a single, sacred flame burning from atop the peak of the glaciers’ only mountain. This mountain belonged to the God of Fire.

A trio of brothers from the Wilder Nation’s Gurek Clan ventured out to the mountain in order to steal the seeds of fire. The youngest brother was also the most agile of the three. He used the branch of a tree to capture this sacred flame, but ran so fast that by the time he descended to the bottom of the mountain, the flame he had so craftily stolen had already been blown away by the wind. The second eldest brother instead used his cloak to steal the flame, but just as he was about to reach their village, his cloak had all but burnt away to nothing.

The eldest of the three brothers, upon noticing the flame was about to extinguish, set his own hair and eyebrows alight, daring to use his own body as a torch in order to carry this fire down the mountain and back towards their village. The two younger siblings saw that their brother and the flames he bore were on the brink of extinguishing forever, so they too, gave up their bodies to bear the the flames, ultimately giving their lives to bring light to the rest of their village.

It is not well known that people of the Wilder Nation possess some of the strongest oracle abilities amongst all Oralians. As the Wilder Nation only started to unify their tribes at the end of these last million years, a universal language amongst their people has yet to be established, forcing them to instead rely upon their divine abilities in order to communicate with one other.

In the Era following the Great Sealing, It was also these divine abilities that allowed the Wilder Nation to become the first group of Seekers to communicate with our world and be re-awoken.  Other Oralians often marvel at how members of the Wilder Tribes were the first to Awaken despite being viewed as one of the least developed nations on Oro. There are even some Wilder Tribes who refer to themselves as “Loy” in their native tongues, essentially “Fools favoured by the gods”.

Members of most clans belonging to the Wilder Nation choose to adorn themselves with animal bones and tattoos, a custom tying back to their relationship with the Gods of Fire and Death, both of whom have earnt their worship throughout the ages.

Class system

The class system of The Wilder Nation is not bound by the same degree of order and logic as Oro’s other tribes. However, members of the Wilder Clans on Oro can primarily be distinguished as belonging to one of three following groups:

Divine Chiefs: The highest class of citizen in any Wilder Clan. Shrouded in mystery and deeply revered by other members of the Wilder Tribes, Divine Chiefs are typically identifiable by their heterochromatic irises, and are naturally endowed with or inherit divine abilities that allow them to call upon and channel the power of the elements and Oro’s deities. Other members of the Wilder Nation who have come to posses equally potent abilities via other means are scarce, however it is rumoured that there is a Devine Chief amongst the Clan of Beast Blood who was gifted with such abilities after passing through the Trials of the Three Ancient Trees.

The Wilder Nation is spread throughout the south eastern regions of Oro. The Wilder Nation’s largest tribe, the Clan of Bones, was established a mere 1000 years ago, making it one of the youngest tribes on Oro. People of the Wilder Nation were seen as undevout in the eyes of Oro’s other inhabitants, and were not taken seriously until their invasion of and eventual triumph over one of Oro’s strongest nations, the people of Pantheon, a feat which earned them newfound respect across Oro. The three main tribes of the Wilder Nation are the central Clan of Bones, the northern Clan of Ore who are heavily involved with the Pantheon, and the southern Clan of Beast Blood who remain hidden amongst the “Forest of Whispers”.

The oracle abilities of the Wilder Nation far surpass those of any other tribe on Oro, so much so it is seen as being instinctual or essentially innate to their people. People of the Wilder Nation do not require any form of ritual or organ transferral to realise their divine abilities. Despite these uncanny abilities, their people are still labelled as undeveloped by many of Oro’s other tribes, a misconception that spurs from sheer ignorance and lack of understanding towards the Wilder Nation. There is no telling what great possibilities and endless potential lies in wait for members of the Wilder Nation who are first to awaken after the Great Sealing.

Despite the travesty and chaos on Oro leading up to the Great Sealing, this tragic series of events does not mark the end of Oro’s story, rather, it is merely the beginning of something far greater about to unfold.

Oro is reaching out in the dark and trying to communicate with our world. As soon as a connection is established between our own souls and those of the sleeping warriors on Oro, they can finally be awoken to fulfil their role as “Seekers” and mark a new era of life for Oro’s future. Most Seekers have lost their memories of life on Oro before the Great Sealing. They will begin their new lives after awakening on Oro, where they will fight for survival, explore their surroundings and create their own legions while striving to prove their power and loyalty to the gods in order to unveil the secrets behind the deities’ departure and solve the mystery of The Great Sealing.

Each Seekers belongs to a different nation on Oro. The intensity of their intrinsic connection to our world varies for each Seeker depending on which part of Oro they are from. The first group of warriors to awaken belong to the Wilder Clan, a tribe whose roots lie in the South Eastern regions of Oro where they worship the gods of fire and death.

The vicious cycle of peace and war on Oro was as natural as the shift between night and day on earth. Under the rule of countless deities, the nations of Oro found themselves entrapped in constant conflict with one another. Many of Oro’s deities met their end throughout the course of these relentless wars that seemed to draw out for eons, giving way to the rise and fall of countless nations’ reign.  Oro was but a lone leaf trapped amid the billowing waves of the cosmos, caught in the steel grip of its undulating current as hundreds of deities gazed upon the turmoil unfolding before them.

“The Great Sealing”  A monumental change eventually befell this fateful world. The once prosperous land of Oro was suddenly sealed away in some inexplicable crevasse of the universe all at once as a tremendous burst of energy broke free from its core. It was as if the entire realm had been frozen in time and space, seemingly trapped by this mysterious curse destined to last for Millenia to come. The voices of the gods had all but been silenced alongside the piercing war cries of Oro’s inhabitants. All they could do was await the day of their eventual awakening.

“Oro” is an Elysian land of unmatched beauty. The natural world of this ethereal realm is intrinsically connected to and dearly cherished by all of its celestial inhabitants.

The myriads of intelligent beings spread throughout Oro flourished and thrived under the divine protection of the gods, and eventually established unique communities of their own across the land.

However, the mysterious properties woven throughout every ounce of soil and air on this Oralian oasis are also what trapped its powerful deities in perpetual conflict with one another.

Oro’s thearchy was first governed by three supreme beings, under whose rule lived twenty seven deities and thousands of divine envoys, also known as oracles.
