Closed Beta Recap

In May 2022, Noox launched its closed beta, and over the past four(4) weeks, we’ve worked with our early contributors and community members to test various technical features and the overall user experiences. We are delighted to share that we have successfully conducted our tests and would like to take this time to thank everyone who has participated in the process. The level of engagement and activity was certainly overwhelming and surprising, to say the least. During the closed beta, a total of 16,484 badges were claimed as Soulbound NFTs!

Closed beta is here

Today, we are excited to release our closed beta to the early contributors of Noox. Those who have participated in the Noox Awakens campaigns are eligible for the beta, and you must hold any one of three Noox Awakens POAPs or Noox Genesis Pass to access it. Owning these will allow you to sign up and create a profile to start collecting your Web3 badges.

During the closed beta, users will be able to 1) explore, 2) collect, and 3) share their web3 achievements based on their historic interaction with various decentralized applications on the Ethereum network.

The Noox Awakens

"Noox Awakens" was launched in February 2022 as a community bootstrapping campaign focused on building a community of early contributors and rewarding them. "Noox Awakens" consists of four different rounds, and everyone who participated in the campaign will be able to access our Closed Beta Test(CBT).

Over 6,500+ unique contributors have been successfully onboarded through the campaign. Every round had a different way for participants to participate, and the number of participants varied accordingly.

For the first time in history, Web3 allows any user, anywhere in the world, to interact with any decentralized application on a ‘shared state machine’ – where all records of these interactions are immutably stored on a public database. One of the most important Web3 primitives over the next decade will be understanding these on-chain transactions as digital footprints, and making them useful through badges.

We’re excited to announce a $2 million seed round led by Collab+Currency with strong participation from Electric Capital, Sfermion, SamsungNext, POAP, and Alphanonce.

The Noox Awakens

In February 2022, we launched “Noox Awakens”, a community bootstrapping campaign with two(2) missions in mind: building early community and rewarding early contributors. “Noox Awakens” consists of four(4) different rounds, and everyone who participates in the campaign will be given access to our beta.

Today, we are announcing Round 4 of the “Noox Awakens” campaign and it is also the last chance to earn your pass to access our beta, scheduled to launch this month.

The first POAP 'Genesis Pioneer' and second POAP 'Early Settler' took place over the past 3 weeks and are now closed. But it's too early to be disappointed yet! As announced in the Noox Awakens campaign introduction article, this campaign consists of 3 POAP rounds and 1 Mirror round. The 3rd and last POAP round still remains!

Rounds 1 and 2 required very simple actions, such as interacting on Twitter or joining in Discord. Possibly because it was so simple, approximately 1,500 and 5,500 people participated in the first and second rounds, respectively. The third round is going to be a little different. As a result, it is expected to be a rarer POAP than the previous two POAPs.

Greetings. This is van Dal from Noox.

First, we apologize for not being able to get back to you sooner with the FGT(Focus Group Test) result.

Initially, we were under much pressure especially because this was the first time we were showcasing our MVP product to the public after doing only internal testing until early December. However, we can only but express our gratitude after so many of you participated in the test and encouraged us, contrary to our initial apprehensions.

We were particularly flattered whenever we spotted FGT Ninjas create their profiles, share them in the community, and discuss them.
